Physical model
This model explores the contrast between Piero Portaluppi’s irony and the ordered rationalism of his historical context.
Its conceptual foundation is a Rubik’s cube, a symbol of the balance between chance and structure, between creativity and norm.
To reinterpret the pre-existing geometries, we followed the concept of intersecting bridges, creating continuous connections between the elements and unifying the composition into a single system.
The model has a transformable quality: open, it reveals a reinterpreted perspective of Hellytown, exposing its complexity and dynamism. Closed, it becomes a cube, a visual metaphor for creativity contained within a rational historical context.
