La Plaza Viva

A proposal to reimagine Rafael Leoz’s social housing complex in Torrejón de Ardoz, building on the principles of his HELE modules. The project transforms the existing buildings into an affordable hotel for young creatives visiting Madrid. A place designed to stay, connect, and share their work.

Suspended between the residential blocks, a lightweight glass pavilion becomes the heart of the proposal: an art hub that activates the public spaces and brings new life to the plazas, turning them into places for creativity, exchange, and community.
