Osteria Brama
A forty-cover osteria in oxblood and cream, built around a single long oak table and an open pass.
Brief & objectives
Two young chefs leaving a starred kitchen wanted an osteria that takes food seriously and itself lightly — warm, loud enough, never themed.
The site was a deep, narrow former workshop with one window to the street.

The section
Lighting was designed in section first: pools of warmth at the tables, a glowing pass at the far end.

The long table
A ten-metre oak table anchors the room and absorbs walk-ins, groups and the staff meal alike.

Patina
Every finish was tested against red wine, olive oil and bleach before earning its place.
